Recurring BillingWith PayPal as your payment provider, you can set up recurring billing agreements with your customers. You define the amount, how often, and what is provided and PayPal will automatically send payments through. Coupled with SupportPay's Packages system, this gives you a set-and-forget way of providing monthly fixed-limit support agreements. | ![]() | |

Pre-authorised PaymentsIdeal for using with one-off jobs, this feature lets you agree with your client that they will pay up to a fixed limit for a service. PayPal will then guarantee this limit for 72 hours. If the service costs less than the limit, you only charge what is due. Customers don't need to worry about buying pre-paid credit which may not get used, increasing your chances of getting paid work from casual clients. | |
Integrate with WHMCSIf you also use WHMCS, you can bring package definitions across to SupportPay automatically as well as passing billing information back to WHMCS for handling. You can control which system takes payments for support, or even use both. Instant billing can be set up to use WHMCS to invoice your customers for all their support tickets, charged on a per-minute or per-ticket basis. Invoiced billing can send daily, weekly or monthly bills to WHMCS for inclusion on a customer's normal invoices. Comments on a customer in WHMCS are brought into Fusion each time they log in. Startup Packages per GroupYou can define credit packages which get assigned automatically to each new user. This is ideal for setting up "Welcome" bonuses. If you have different groups of registered users in Fusion, each group can be assigned different startup packages, giving you fine control over which groups get initial credit. | |
Tax CalculationsYou can set a tax rate to be applied to all your sales, using two different methods. First, you can add a percentage amount to each sale as you normally would. Second, you can tell SupportPay to work out the base price of a sale such that after tax is applied, the total comes to the cost you have given. Simple InstallationUnlike some other modules, SupportPay requires only minimal changes to your Kayako installation. You need to add one line of text your configuration file. No hacking around with Kayako's internals, no changes to javascript, no changes to templates, no restrictions on not having any other modules, no overwriting Kayako files with modified versions, no unauthorised alterations to Kayako's database tables. Sell 'Minutes', 'Tickets' or 'Packages'You can choose whether you want to sell your time in 'minutes', 'tickets' or 'packages'. Or even a combination of them all. 'Minutes' take payment according to the amount of billable time you record on a ticket. 'Tickets' are all-inclusive payment; one 'ticket' credit pays for an entire ticket, no matter how much billable time went into it. 'Packages' are combinations of 'minutes' and 'tickets', sold for a fixed price. You create Packages when you want, costing what you want, containing however many Minutes or Tickets you want. You can create time-limited packages which are only on sale between dates you specify, packages which remove unused contents after so many days, or packages which are added for free to any new client. Clients can be their own Account ManagersHandle company (or family) accounts easily by making a customer into their own Account Manager. They control who their members are, can send invitations or remove members at any time and can see all their members' tickets. The account manager buys credit for all their account members to use. Secure Password StorageUnlike some other modules, SupportPay doesn't store your Merchant account passwords in plain-text in the database. Plain-text database entries are potentially readable by anyone with database access. People like your staff, your clients and anyone else on the web with a bit of hacking knowledge. We encrypt all your financial passwords so that even someone with access to your Admin Settings screen can't just "View Source" and read them. Affiliate Bonuses for Signing Up OthersIncrease your customer base by getting your customers to sign up their friends. If you allow it, each new person signed up by an existing customer will earn them credit - you say what percentage of the new customer's purchases get awarded to the person that signed them up. Affiliates can be set to expire after a certain number of days if you don't want customers to earn bonuses for ever. | |
